Goncalo Alves differs from the "Fancy Goncalo" in that the wood has less of contrasting chocolate brown stripes or patches running through the wood. Color ranging from light golden brown to reddish brown.  Very pleasant to hold; very smooth

The most distinctive wood comes from South America, and includes Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

The picture of two HoldingCrosses is for illustration purposes only to show grain variance.

The HoldingCross price is for each one.

As with all of our crosses, there were no stains or lacquers used to finish your cross; only a natural oil which is hand-rubbed and polished to enhance the woods natural beauty.
