James, the apostle and brother of Jesus, gave us instruction for ministry.
It starts with prayer.

“Is anyone among you suffering?  Let him pray.  Is anyone cheerful?  Let him sing praises.  Is anyone among you sick?  Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.” (James 5:13 – 15)

Now, read the words of Jesus teaching us about the ministry of the Church

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'   Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'   The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'”  (Matthew 25:35-40)

We see these two scriptures as instructions to the body of Christ for ministry work.  We are all called to be ministers.  A few wear a collar; most are common workers serving gracefully in the field.  The MinistryPacks are meant to be tools for the harvest.  They are meant to be gifts for reaching out in care and prayer.

Some of you may be thinking ...
