Anointing refers to a sacred act of consecrating a person, place, or object for a divinely ordained purpose. In Scripture, it involves applying oil as a physical sign, pointing to a deeper spiritual reality of setting apart, empowering, and blessing. At its core, anointing highlights God’s authority and the divine appointment of individuals for specific roles.
It was used to set apart people or objects for God’s service, marking them as holy and dedicated to His purposes. (see Exodus 30:30 and Leviticus 8:30). Anointing often signifies God’s blessing, favor, and empowerment (Psalm 23:5)
This keychain is the only way we recommend to carry your oil and take it with you wherever you go. It allows you to be open to the Spirit's leading to anoint and pray with the oil and yet discreet enough to tuck into your pocket or purse.
The oil holder is gold-tone and has a lined cavity and O-Ring Seal to make it virtually leak proof. We offer the oil holder with the name "Jesus" engraved on it. To complete your purchase, we include a 1/4 oz bottle of the Frankincense and Myrrh oil along with a tiny funnel to make filling the holder as easy as possible. The oil holder holds approximately 1/8 oz of oil. Oils are presented in a glass bottle holding 1/4 ounce each.
CAUTION : the glass containers of the oil ARE NOT ROLL-ON! They are open on the top and can pour easily into a smaller container or use by putting your index finger on top of the bottle. Ensure your finger is tight on the bottle and turn it upside-down to wet your finger. Turn the bottle upright and remove your finger and you will have oil on your fingertip for an anointing.
